We envision a future where no family has to choose between purchasing groceries and paying essential bills. Through partnerships, community engagement, and faith-driven service, we strive to build a stronger, healthier Fayetteville—one household at a time.

We approach food assistance with intentionality and care. Our goal is not simply to provide food, but to offer healthy, well-balanced groceries that supplement and stabilize household meals. By providing nutritious items that families can rely on each month, we help reduce financial strain, allowing them to redirect limited income toward rent, utilities, transportation, and other critical expenses. We serve with dignity, respect, and efficiency—ensuring every family feels valued and supported.
Dr. Diana Galloway
Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Diana Galloway is an accomplished humanitarian, nonprofit executive, author, and community leader whose life has been defined by faith, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to serving others. As the Founder and Executive Director of Compassion Ministries of Georgia, Inc., she has dedicated her life to combating food insecurity, restoring hope, and empowering individuals and
families through compassionate service.
A proud breast cancer survivor, Dr. Galloway transformed one of life's greatest challenges into a mission of hope and encouragement for others. Her personal journey has inspired countless individuals to persevere through adversity with faith, courage, and determination while becoming a respected advocate for survivorship and community wellness.
Before founding Compassion Ministries, Dr. Galloway enjoyed a distinguished career in aviation. She was a flight attendant based in Atlanta and proudly served as a member of one of the first all-African American female flight crews in regional commercial aviation, an achievement that
represents an important milestone in aviation history and continues to inspire future generations.
Under Dr. Galloway's leadership, Compassion Ministries has grown from a small outreach operating from her family garage during the COVID-19 pandemic into a trusted nonprofit organization serving thousands of individuals and families throughout the community. Her vision
extends far beyond providing food; she is committed to restoring dignity, building stronger communities, creating meaningful partnerships, and developing sustainable solutions that address the root causes of food insecurity.
Her commitment to service also reaches beyond the United States. Through agricultural and community development initiatives in Barbados, Dr. Galloway is working to strengthen food security, create educational opportunities for young people, and promote sustainable farming practices that can benefit communities for generations to come.
Dr. Galloway earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Metaphysical Science, reflecting her lifelong dedication to learning, leadership, and personal growth.
For more than 42 years, Dr. Galloway has shared an extraordinary partnership in marriage, ministry, and service with her husband, Bonnor Galloway, a United States Army Vietnam veteran and Co-Founder of Compassion Ministries of Georgia. Together, they work alongside their four
grown children to build a lasting family legacy founded on faith, compassion, integrity, and service to others.
Dr. Galloway believes that true leadership is measured not by titles or recognition, but by the lives transformed through acts of compassion. Her mission remains clear: to inspire hope, strengthen communities, and leave a legacy that empowers future generations to serve with love, purpose, and excellence.

Bonnor Galloway
Chief Operations Director
Bonnor Galloway is a distinguished United States Army veteran whose honorable service during the Vietnam War, including overseas deployment, reflects a lifelong commitment to courage, duty, and selfless service. The discipline, resilience, and leadership forged through
his military experience have remained the foundation of his character and continue to guide his work in ministry and community service.
As Chief Operations Director of Compassion Ministries of Georgia, Inc., Mr. Galloway has played an instrumental role in building one of Fayette County’s most respected community outreach organizations. Working alongside his wife, Dr. Diana Galloway, he oversees the operational leadership of the ministry, ensuring that every aspect of its food distribution, logistics, warehouse management, transportation, volunteer support, and community outreach is carried out with excellence, integrity, and compassion.
Known for his quiet leadership and unwavering dependability, Mr. Galloway has devoted countless hours to creating efficient systems that allow the ministry to serve thousands of individuals and families facing food insecurity. His leadership behind the scenes has been essential to the organization’s continued growth and its ability to respond to the needs of the community with dignity and care.
For more than 42 years, Bonnor and Dr. Diana Galloway have shared a remarkable partnership in marriage, ministry, and service. Although retired from military service, Mr. Galloway remains actively engaged in the daily operations of Compassion Ministries Food Pantry. His steadfast leadership, servant’s heart, and enduring commitment to helping others continue to be a source of strength for the ministry and an inspiration to all who have the privilege of serving alongside him.

Whitney Galloway
Executive Administrator
Whitney Galloway serves as the Executive Administrator for Compassion Ministries of Georgia, where she oversees the organization's administrative operations, financial management, grant administration, community partnerships, volunteer coordination, marketing, technology, and strategic planning.
Growing up, Whitney witnessed firsthand her mother dedicate countless hours to serving individuals and families throughout the community. Watching that unwavering commitment to helping others became one of the greatest influences in her life. Inspired by her mother's compassion and servant leadership, Whitney chose to follow in her footsteps by becoming an integral part of the ministry and playing a vital role in the daily operations and continued growth of Compassion Food Pantry.
Today, Whitney is passionate about strengthening the organization's ability to serve more families through innovation, community collaboration, and sustainable programs that create lasting impact. She believes that behind every meal provided is a family finding hope, encouragement, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
As Compassion Ministries continues to grow, Whitney remains committed to building meaningful partnerships, improving organizational excellence, and helping expand the ministry's reach so that more families throughout Fayette County have access to food, resources, and compassionate support.
